Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, browsing restaurants, or placing an order on Cotton Food Courts (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Using the platform

Cotton Food Courts connects you with independent restaurants ("Vendors") and delivery partners ("Riders"). You may use the Platform to:

• Browse menus from approved Vendors near you
• Place pickup or delivery orders
• Track your order in real time
• Rate and review your experience

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place orders. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.

4. Orders, payments, and cancellations

• Prices, availability, and preparation times are set by Vendors and may change without notice.
• Payments are processed securely by Paystack. Cotton Food Courts does not store full card details.
• Once a Vendor has accepted your order, it generally cannot be cancelled. If you need to cancel, contact support as soon as possible.
• If a Vendor cannot fulfil an order, or food arrives in an unacceptable condition, contact support and we will work with the Vendor to provide a refund or replacement where appropriate.

5. Vendors and riders

Vendors are independent businesses responsible for the quality, safety, and accurate description of the food they prepare. Riders are responsible for collecting and delivering orders safely and on time. We require Vendors and Riders to behave professionally on the Platform; serious breaches may result in suspension or removal.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cotton Food Courts is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform, including delays, missing items, or quality issues caused by Vendors or Riders. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
